Meet The Founder

Hi, I'm Shadi Segoviano, founder of The Literacy Revival and an experienced elementary educator with a passion for helping children become confident, successful readers.

Founder & Educator

After years of working in classrooms and literacy intervention programs, I noticed a common pattern: many students struggle not because they lack ability, but because they need more individualized instruction, smaller learning environments, and explicit teaching of foundational reading skills.

I created The Literacy Revival to provide the kind of focused support that many students need but often cannot receive in a traditional classroom setting.

At The Literacy Revival, every lesson is intentionally designed to meet students where they are while helping them build the skills and confidence needed to thrive academically. Through structured, research-based instruction, students strengthen their reading, writing, and foundational academic skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Here, students are more than just another face in the classroom. They are seen, supported, challenged, and celebrated as they grow into capable, confident learners.

I look forward to partnering with families and schools to help every child build strong roots in reading and a lifelong love of learning.
